Rest Assured Home Care

Our Staff

All of our staff are carefully selected and are recruited in accordance with the guidelines of care standards. All staff have a current enhanced CRB and POVA check. All staff have moving and handling training which is updated annually, as well as basic food and hygiene, palliative care training and a first aid certificate.

All staff have, or are working towards Level II NVQ qualification and some towards Level III NVQ. All staff will have a 3-day induction programme which involves shadowing an experienced member of staff.

Staff are made aware of the company's policies surrounding this. Each member of staff has in their possession the policies and procedures for the company and are expected to read and adhere to the policies therein. They are expected to sign to acknowledge their understanding of all aspects of this booklet and they are asked to retain this and refer to it when necessary.

Staff's performance will be appraised on a regular basis and we welcome feedback from service users.

Equal Opportunities

We operate an equal opportunities policy and recruit staff on the basis of their ability to fulfil their position. We believe it is inappropriate for service users to ask us to select workers or them on the basis of their race, ethnicity, sex, or sexuality. The exception to this is if we are providing personal care, when we appreciate that service users may have a preference for workers of their own sex.

Can you contribute to Home Care's success?

We are always on the lookout for people who can further enhance our services. If you feel you can add value to Rest Assured Home Care, please forward your CV to us, or get in touch for an informal chat.
